About the School

Educational Visits
Sometimes we go on a school trip or have visitors to explain things that we would not normally be able learn in school.

Summerlee Heritage Centre
Children from P4 went to Summerlee Heritage Centre.

Cumbernauld Airport
P3 children visited to Cumbernauld Airport as part of their study of Air and Flight.

Truck Safety
We had a visit to our playground by a large lorry and the drivers spoke about safety around large vehicles.

The Wild Bus
The Wild Bus came from Edinburgh Zoo as part of P5's Rainforest Project.

Kilbowie Outdoor Centre
P7 children visited Kilbowie Outdoor Centre for a week of outdoor activities.
RSNO Trip
In June 2009, P6 children went to see the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
Museum of Flight
In May 2009, P3 visited the Museum of Flight at East Fortune.
National Museum
In April 2009, P6 went to the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.
Sawmill
In March 2009, P5a children visited a sawmill as part of their Story Pole project.
